Our Work

As Christians, we are called to love and support one another through all of life's ups and downs. This is why we at Nehemiah Works are deeply committed to our mission of providing Christian Counseling, Coaching, and Training support to our partner community of churches and their missions. We understand that life can be challenging and that there are times when we all need a helping hand.

Our Mission

Our mission is to establish Christian Counseling, Coaching, and Training support for our partner community of churches and their missions by providing cooperative relationships and resources to bring restoration to the body of Christ through “gifts of healing, of helping, of guidance”.  1Corinthians 12:27

All that we do flows from our calling to empower our body of churches to provide Christian counseling to all regardless of circumstance. To teach, encourage, and guide Gods children.  To equip them with His truth, knowledge, His love in a Christ-centered ways. By following the example of Nehemiah we can provide thoughtful leadership, loving service, and heart felt prayer for our churches, our community, and our people.

Our Statement of Faith

Our Authority

The Statement of Faith does not exhaust the extent of our faith. The Bible itself is the sole and final source of all that we believe. We do believe, however, that the Statement of Faith accurately represents the teachings of the Bible and, therefore, is binding upon all Directors, officers, employees, and volunteers.

  • We believe the Bible is the inerrant, inspired Word of the living God. The Bible is the final authority on all matters of life, faith, and   practice.
  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
  • We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in the virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in His personal return in power and glory.
  • We believe that salvation is an act of God’s saving grace by the work of the Holy Spirit in regenerating and converting the hearts of men by His free gift of saving faith.
  • We believe that there is but one head of the Church, the Lord Jesus Christ and that it is the responsibility of the Church and its institutions to maintain His Lordship over their activities and not submit that right to any individual, corporate body, governmental agency, or head of state, as long as we conduct ourselves as ambassadors of Christ and live as lawful citizens.
  • We believe that every area of life is to be subject to the Lordship of Jesus Christ. We adhere to a world and life view which seeks to make the Lord Jesus Christ preeminent in all things.
  • We believe that the term “marriage” has only one legitimate meaning, and that is marriage sanctioned by God, which joins one man and one woman in a single, covenantal union, as delineated by Scripture. (Gen. 2:24; Eph. 5:22-23; Mark 10:6-9; I Cor. 7:1-9.)
  • We believe all things are possible through the love of Jesus Christ.
